Oh Kendra....

Driving home from school Kendra asks me why the flags are all stuck lower. I explained that one of our senators passed away and that it showed respect for his life. The next day Kendra's kitten at her dad's house, Bouncer passed away from a virus. The flags were still at half mast, so Kendra told me, it must be out of respect for Bouncer. =(

"When do I get to have a BIG brother or sister?"- I had to explain that she will always be the oldest, so she will be the big sister... she was bummed!

At the end of the school day we get home and I say, "Kendra you need to follow directions!"
"But mom! I already did that ALL day at school!"
