Aquarium and Gymnastics

Kendra and I went to the Aquarium downtown last week. It was a fun time as always with Kendra's commentary.
-As the fish swim by Kendra looks and waves, "look mom they all wave and say hi as they go by!"
-"Look MOM!!! A school of fish! Which one is the teacher?"

Kendra comes to cheer practice with me sometimes and loves to hang out with the girls. Last year was a bit of a struggle with her wanting to crawl on the mats and pretend to be a cat or dog... barking or meowing. This year so far she has been much better. As we are driving home she asks why they call me Coach Vaughn. I explain it's respectful and polite to call coaches and teachers by their last name. So a few days later I pick her up from gymnastics and her coaches tell me she asked them to call her Kendra Vaughn please. =) She's a quick one!
