She is 3 and FABULOUS! 7/11/07

So... it's about that time~ Ms. Kendra is 3! (Yes this does make me feel VERY old!)

For the past month Kendra has finally gotten down, "3" and holding up 3 fingers when asked about the birthday. (For some time she was stuck on turning 5, they always want to be older- that is until my age.) This morning she warmed up to the day dancing to techno music while I got ready. Beware she has got some amazing moves, she can even break dance and do a donkey kick!

During the drive Kendra practiced her best Happy Birthday to me song, and tells me when it's over, everyone will clap for her and say YEAH KENDRA!

We head to Friday's restaurant for the birthday lunch with my family. Kendra comes in and sees her "Princess B-day" balloon and gifts and is very excited... "Woohoo!" she yells.
After a great job with the rip and tear of wrapping paper, "Miny-me" eats lunch and then... everyone sings! As the Fridays crew comes out to sing she looks slightly terrified, then quickly realizes it's just like cheer practice with clapping and yells. She was very excited about the attention.

Some funny Kendra stories:
Kendra was playing at Isabelle's house and managed to find scissors... and cut the hair off her Barbie. Oops! Now whenever I have scissors she tells me to be very, very careful because scissors are only for mommy to use.

My cheerleaders had a performance at an elementary school and Kendra came with me. She was very excited to go to school because she was going to meet a REAL teacher. I then explained to her that mommy is a teacher too!

Kendra is now potty trained but during the process, she managed to find a quiet time during our cheerleaders kiddie camp performance (with about 40 some parents watching, and 70 campers) to shout across the gym, "Mommy, I have to go potty", jumping up and down.

We went to PF Chang's for dinner and Kendra tells her aunt and uncle, "I wear big girl underwear now" and quickly pulls her dress up and sticks her bottom out to show off her new undies. During dinner she had to use the potty about 4 times.
